Walkathon 2007

The Second Annual Jamaican Youth Education Walkathon will be held on Saturday June 9th at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Regional Shoreline Park in Oakland. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000. The proceeds from the walkathon will go towards the JANC Scholarship Fund and the Integrity Children’s Fund. ICF sponsors non-government school in some of Jamaica’s poorest communities. These funds help to pay the teachers salaries and purchase badly needed supplies.

You can help make this walkathon a successful event by registering to be a walker and collect pledges. For more information visit walkathon.janc.org or email us.
