The Executive Board of the Jamaican American Association of Northern California wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving Day.  We hope that you have something in your life you can be thankful for this 2015.
Thank you to Rose March, Thanksgiving Outreach Chair and all the members and supporters who contributed to our Thanksgiving outreach.  30 families picked up a box with a turkey (16-17lbs), bag of Irish potatoes, rice, stuffing, candied yams, cranberry sauce, onions, corn and a pie on Saturday, November 21st.
We thank Kingston 11 Cuisine for allowing the Association to use their restaurant parking lot for the distribution.
We thank Past JAANC President, Trevor Creary, our Executive Secretary, Rosemarie Boothe-Bey, Perez Perera, Kenny Perera, Karlene McCallaCreary,  Almaden neighbor Perry Campbell, Volunteers from Allen Temple Baptist Church, Oakland and Bonnie Star from Company for shopping, transporting and helping to distribute.
We remind the Caribbean/American community that all are invited to participate in the Association’s programs.  Donations welcome.  Volunteers welcome.  Membership in the Association is open to all.
As we approach the end of another year, we are thankful for 40 years of continuous support from the Northern California community and especially our past, present, and deceased members on whose backs we continue to keep the Association alive.
